Solid hardwood flooring
Solid hardwood flooring
Solid hardwood flooring is a classic type of wooden floors, know for centuries. Our solid flooring is produced from highest quality, carefully selected raw material. Strict quality control is ensured within all manufacturing stages, from sawing and kiln drying, up to oiling and waxing. It allows us to offer you the finest product that will please your eyes and feet for decades, and increase your real estate value.
Each board is milled from a single piece of Oak wood. Boards are not glued of finger-jointed. Flooring boards have tongue and groove on all four edges, as well as bevels. Our solid hardwood boards are factory sanded and ready for installation.
Available solid oak flooring sizes:
15 x 130 / 160 x 600 – 3000 mm
21 x 120 / 140 / 160 / 180 / 200 x 800 – 2800 mm
15 mm thickness solid flooring boards are suitable for installation on plywood, OSB or similar wooden subfloor. Installation is performed by gluing and nailing the flooring boards to the subfloor. 21 mm thickness flooring is suitable also for installation on wooden battens (usually 45 x 45 cm, approximately 40 cm distance between battens). We do not recommend installation of solid flooring on concrete subfloors (but we do offer Engineered Flooring suitable for that). If you have a concrete subfloor and wish to install solid flooring, we recommend first to install a layer of plywood at least 12 mm thick, directly on concrete. Then install solid flooring on plywood.
Finishing can be done both at the factory, as well as after installation. If you prefer to have your flooring pre-finished at the factory, we offer hardwax oil or classic oil treatment in various colors. in this case, your flooring is ready to be walked on right after installation. Such finishing provides high durability and is easy to care for. For factory finishing we use hardwax oil made by German manufacturer Hesse Lignal. We use only natural and environmentally friendly products for finishing.

Grading
The flooring boards are graded in five grades, depending on amount of knots and discoloration. However, there are no loose knots even in the lowest grades; all knots and cracks are filled with putty. The difference between grades is only visual, there are no differences in practical use. Below you can see photos of unfinished boards. Of course, any grade parquet boards can be finished in color according to customer’s choice.
