Floor sanding
Floor sanding
Floor sanding is usually done to renovate and renew a wooden floor that has been exposed to excessive wear and tear. During the sanding process, the previous layer of finish and a very thin layer of wood (usually 0,5 – 1 mm) is removed. This way, an undamaged ‘’fresh’’ wood is exposed, and some kind of finishing (oil, lacquer, etc.) needs to be applied. In such situation, you can choose a finishing material that is completely different from the previous one. Taking proper care for your floor can greatly prolong the time until sanding is necessary. Very old floors usually also require replacement of some damaged flooring or parquet boards.
Our company offers wooden floor sanding and re-finishing, during which your floor will regain its original beauty. Below you can see some of our floor sanding and renovation projects ‘’before and after’’.
